New project is part of B3’s digital transformation initiative

B3's cloud-based Foreign Exchange Clearinghouse operations reinforce our commitment to innovation and operational stability.

The migration of B3’s Foreign Exchange Clearinghouse to cloud-based technology is part of a partnership entered into with Microsoft and Oracle for digital transformation. The initiative follows others that also took place this year, such as the upgrade of B3’s central depository and the investment in Vermiculus Financial Technology.

Our digital transformation initiative also involves the migration of other operations to cloud, such as vehicle liens, B3 Bank, insurance, OTC, etc.

B3 expects that cloud migration of its Foreign Exchange Clearinghouse is fully implemented by year end 2023, as soon authorization from the regulator is obtained.
