The new improvement will allow guarantee contract parties to choose who should be paid for collateral asset (CDB) events
As of August 28, 2023, B3 will enable in the Guarantee Contract Registration Module the possibility of redirecting CDB events, allowing the parties involved in a lien contract to direct CDB events to the Guarantor or Guaranteed Party.
In a second phase, other assets such as COE, LCA and LCI will also be included in the change.

The Guarantee Contract Registration Module allows participants to register, amend, change, extinguish and query information relating to the constitution of liens and encumbrances for their contracts and assets pledged as collateral.
NoMe is a B3 platform that provides infrastructure to the OTC market, with solutions in cash assets, securities and non-centrally cleared OTC derivatives in accordance with the regulations stipulated by B3, the Central Bank of Brazil and the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM).
