B3 creates report for management of CCBs used as collateral in FIDCs

Instruction 175 issued by the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM) made it mandatory to register collateral for Receivables Investment Funds (FIDCs) with an institution authorized to trade by the Central Bank of Brazil, such as B3.

Among the main assets used as collateral and which are subject to this rule are Bank Credit Bills (CCBs).

With the increase in demand following the entry into force of CVM Instruction 175, B3 identified the need to create a management report to facilitate monitoring – by financial institutions, asset managers and fund administrators – of CCBs linked to FIDCs.

The new report is now available in the NoMe system. It brings data in a general and analytical way, streamlining the user experience, optimizing trades and reducing back-office demands.

FIDC-linked CCB reports will be generated and made available via file in the fund administrator's mailbox. The report must contain the following data: fund account number; Corporate Taxpayer Register (CNPJ) of the fund; participant's corporate name; calculation date; total number of debtors; percentage of concentration by the most representative debtor; percentage of concentration by the five most representative debtors; percentage of concentration of corporate debtors; percentage of concentration of individual debtors; average quantity of instruments; average instrument price; average instrument term (in days); percentage of instruments with linked collateral; percentage of instruments with default status; IPCA index percentage; VCP index percentage; percentage of fixed index (interest rate); and percentage of DI Rate index.

The Receivables Investment Fund (FIDC) is a pool of funds that allocates 50%+ of its respective net worth for investments in receivables. It is up to the administrator to set up the fund and carry out the fundraising process with investors through the sale of shares.

The FIDC can be incorporated in the form of an open-end condominium, whereby shareholders may request redemption of their shares as provided for in the fund's regulations - or as a closed-end condominium, whereby the shares are only redeemed at the end of fund’s term. of each series or class of shares, pursuant to its regulations, or due to its liquidation.

The Bank Credit Bill (CCB) is a bond that can be issued by individual investors or corporations and represents a promise of payment on behalf of financial institutions resulting from a credit transaction of any kind - personal credil, consigned credit, vehicle financing, mortgage credit, and rural credit, among others.
