Greater traceability in CCB registration

The Bank Credit Bill (CCB) is one of the main instruments used by financial institutions to formalize credit transactions. CCB is registered at B3 to ensure security, traceability and regulatory compliance. Each CCB has a single Credit Transaction Standard Identifier (IPOC), which ensures the uniqueness of the registration.

In seeking to improve the control and efficiency of this process, B3 is introducing the IPOC Query API for CCB. It allows participants to check in advance if one or more IPOCs have already been used in previous registrations.

If an attempt is made to register an existing IPOC, the API returns this information with the IF Code, which identifies the financial instrument associated with the transaction.

New IPOC Query API allows participants to identify duplicate records and retrieve the IF Code, which avoids rework, improves operational control, and brings greater security to the CCB registration process.

The participant sends a POST request with one or more IPOCs in the message body. For each IPOC, the API returns the following information:

The registration availability status
An indication of unavailability, when applicable
The IF Code, if the IPOC has already been registered with B3.

Therefore, even if the participant has experienced a previous failure and has not saved the registration return, they can retrieve the information simply and securely.
