Remote Voting – English Version
Standardized English translation for fixed text questions on the remote voting ballot now available
When a remote voting ballot in the CICORP (Central Corporate Intelligence) system is created, some questions based on Annex 21-F of CVM Instruction No. 481 (ICVM 481) have a standard text in Portuguese. From now on, B3 will also make available a standardized English version of such questions so that Issuers will no longer need to translate the text. Therefore, possible typing errors or misinterpretations that can occur in a free translation are eliminated.
If the text in Portuguese is always the same, it is important that its translation into English is also standardized. The change does not apply to questions with a free text option.

Greater Speed and Standardization for Remote Voting Ballot
Questions with standard text in Portuguese will have an English version.
The CICORP system is a platform for registering remote voting ballots and is totally based on ICVM 481. The system contains modules for registering, querying and approving remote voting ballots.
With the translation into English of questions that are already standardized in Portuguese, the registration of a ballot in English will be simpler for Issuers. Furthermore, final investors who cast their vote remotely will have a more standardized ballot.
