B3 is creating a VCP development front for NDF Commodities that will eliminate the need for participants to resort to other modules and financial instruments as is currently the case. For example, Swap VCP or Swap Strategy contracts where participants must replicate their desired trade with their clients.

Learn about the details of NDF Commodities VCP
The aim is to use a mechanism similar to Options and Swap VCP contracts, whereby B3 provides the underlying asset. The participant informs the quotation and B3 performs the settlement price calculations. In addition, the MtM will be informed of the contract on a monthly basis.
Adjustments will be made to the registration screen and registration file and output files to reflect new fields.
NDF Commodities is an OTC market product and is usually offered by institutions to their clients as an alternative to hedge the price of commodities commonly traded in futures contracts on foreign stock exchanges.
