New Treatment of Unallocated Trades at the Closing of the Window
The improvement enables the correction of unallocated positions
B3 has improved its fungible derivatives trade allocation system (futures and options). When these trades are unallocated at the closing of the windows defined for this activity, they are sent to the error account and may be offset with other trades or positions in that account.
Through the new functionality, unallocated trades are automatically directed to specific accounts held by participants. This allows intermediaries to carry out transfers or trades to correct their position on the following day.
