Groundbreaking architecture to support market development

Brazil’s capital markets continue to grow rapidly, expanding the offer of new products and services. To gain agility in meeting the growing demand that we see on a daily basis at B3, we are developing a new Clearing platform, starting with the risk module.

The platform is cloud-native, flexible and scalable, and is bound to provide greater agility and security, while eliminating bottlenecks in registration, clearing, settlement and risk management activities of transactions executed in B3’s trading environment.

The project involves migrating the current Real Time Clearing (RTC) system to Nasdaq Real Time Clearing (NRTC), a technology featuring a microservices-based architecture. This is yet another major step in B3’s modernization and digital transformation strategy in listed companies’ core business.

The new Clearing platform is the result of a strategic partnership entered into between B3 and Nasdaq. Its chief goal is not only to upgrade B3’s technological infrastructure, but also to place the user experience at the center of the process. The new B3 Clearing platform will include access interfaces for post-trade services in the risk module, providing a more integrated, intuitive and comprehensive experience for investors.
