Greater trading flexibility

As part of the improvements to the Book of Block Trade (BBT), B3’s platform for block trades at a premium and discount, B3 is implementing two new features that make the process more flexible, safe and efficient for participants:

Trading in any value above the minimum size required by CVM (Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission), without the need for multiples. If the order is partially executed and the balance remains below the minimum size, this residual will be automatically canceled.

Setting a minimum execution quantity. The order will only be executed if there is sufficient counterparty to meet this criterion; otherwise, it will be automatically canceled.

These features already exist for the Midpoint Order Book and are now also part of the BBT, offering greater control, predictability and efficiency to block trades. The Request for Quote (RFQ) solution remains unchanged at this point.
