iMercado – Information Exchange: Issue and Distribution of Primary Fixed Income
This initiative was planned together with the market to establish standardized and safe communication for issuing and distributing Primary Fixed Income securities
This initiative aims to eliminate the use of emails or other insecure means to exchange information about the Issue and distribution of Primary Fixed Income (private market) in the OTC segment.
The goal of the initiative is to achieve operational efficiency, risk mitigation and standardized information exchange among the institutions involved, namely, Issuers and Distributors (Brokerage Houses, OTC Custodians and OTC Participants).
iMercado will be a secure channel for exchanging data on offers and purchase intentions among institutions with prior asset deposit procedures for Distributors.

<p>The new messages are aimed at streamlining the process of exchanging information on the issuance and distribution of private OTC Fixed Income in the primary market, which is currently done by email.</p>
<p>Issuers will be able to send messages in the morning to Distributors (brokerage houses/banks/custodians) about available offers.</p>
<p>The Distributor will return to the Issuer in a timely manner, also via message, with their purchase intentions (pre-deposit process flow).</p>

iMercado is the services network that brings together mechanisms for exchanging trading-related messages.
The tool allows exchanging information online in a timely manner and provides direct interaction among issuers, distributors, brokerage houses, and custodians.
