B3 is launching two new index futures contracts with exposure to international markets: DAX Futures and Euro Stoxx 50 Futures, the main benchmark indices for Germany and the Eurozone respectively.

They are now traded directly on B3 and are part of the Brazilian exchange’s strategy of expanding the product platform for investors interested in accessing new markets. Besides the DAX Futures and Euro Stoxx 50 Futures, B3 trades other major international index contracts like S&P 500, Nikkei 225 and S&P Merval

The DAX Index is made up of the 30 largest companies listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange in Germany. Among them are names like Adidas, BASF, BMW, Porsche and Siemens.

The Euro Stoxx 50 Index combines stocks from the 50 largest companies from the Eurozone countries, including France, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands and Italy. Some of the companies that make up the Euro Stoxx 50 currently are L’Oréal, Airbus, Santander and TotalEnergies.
