The new ETF invests in 400+ small cap U.S. companies
On Wednesday, July 13, B3 will make a new ETF available on the Exchange with access to the international small cap market. The Investo SVAL (SVAL11) is an index fund that mirrors in Brazil the famous Vanguard S&P Small-Cap 600 Value (VIOV) ETF comprising shares of more than 400 small cap U.S. companies.
The VIOV ETF has about $1.4 billion worth of assets under management in the United States and replicates the performance of the S&P Small-Cap 600 Value (SP600V) index. From 2001 to now, early 21st century, the appreciation of this index has been even greater than that of the famous S&P 500, which gathers shares of the 500 largest companies in the United States.
The SVAL11 ETF is managed by Investo Gestão de Recursos Ltda and the BNP Parisbas Brazil bank acts as administrator and custodian. This ETF debuted on the primary market with at the initial share price of BRL100. Its administration fee is 0.30% p.a. (0.45% p.a. of total fee considering the target index fund).
