Internet Explorer Discontinuation Will Impact GMC Ranking Query

Simplification takes place to ensure access to ranking information.

Microsoft will discontinue the Internet Explorer browser in 2022 and clients who use it will be unable to query rankings in the GMC tool (Cblcnet module that accounts for and manages the orders sent by B3 clients).

Therefore, to guarantee client access to GMC ranking information B3 will provide data on Bovespa Spot, Forward and Options Totals and BMF Totals (Futures, Options on Futures, Options on Actuals) via Secure Client.

GMC is a Cblcnet module that accounts for and manages orders sent by B3 clients.

It presents two views. The first view ranks trading rankings by volume in Brazilian Reals (R$), contracts for both markets (BOV and BM&F), thus reaching the model granularity (view, options, etc) up to the instrument.

The second view monitors the rules established by Circular Letter OC 050/2013-DP, which addresses B3’s message control policy.

Secure Client uses Secure Transport technology (file exchange software) and its purpose is to send and receive files to/from B3 in an agile, interactive and monitored manner.
