Preparing for New Registration Entities
CED Upgrades Infrastructure for New Registration Entities.
Currently, B3 holds almost all registrations of derivatives. However, there are other registration entities operating in the market. Therefore, B3 has upgraded its Derivatives Exposure Center (CED) infrastructure to connect and partner with those entities.
The system is now being upgraded to provide both via SOAP and API the derivatives exposure from clients in the financial market to financial institutions that are registered with these new Registration Entities.

The Derivatives Exposure Center (CED) is a not-for-profit company that provides transparency to capital markets on the positions of derivatives contracted in Brazil, allowing a more accurate assessment of financial institutions upon granting credit to companies in this type of transaction.
