New standardization meets regulatory requirements
Joint Circular Letter CVM/SIN/SMI/SSE 01/25, dated March 10, 2025, now requires that minimum investor registration data be maintained by entities managing organized markets and financial market system operators who trade securities.
In compliance with this provision, B3 is changing the mandatory fields for investor registration in the Listed and OTC segments, standardizing the data in both environments.
The goal is to ensure compliance with CVM requirements and guarantee that the minimum registration data content is accurately reflected in B3’s systems. The new rule will come into effect in B3's production environment starting in November 2025.
