New trading window at closing price

Soon, the spot market will have a new trading modality: Trade at Close (TAC). It will allow executing cross orders at the asset’s closing price

In practice, TAC creates an exclusive 15-minute window, which starts immediately after the closing call or its extension, if applicable, dedicated exclusively to entering cross orders. All trades in this window are executed at the official closing price, already defined at the end of the trading session.

The new modality expands the possibilities of strategies for market participants and investors, by allowing trades at a known and consolidated price, in addition to facilitating position adjustments and operational corrections, when necessary.
