With the aim of helping participants plan changes and implementations, a mock trading session of the PUMA Trading System will be held on March 9 2024 with market participants.
 

​​​​​​PLEASE NOTE:

•    Attendance must be confirmed by 12 noon on March 8, 2024 (further information below).
•    Mock trading sessions are mandatory for brokerage houses.

The following system and infrastructure changes will be validated:

• Paving LiNe Trading for new functionalities:
Implementation of a new LiNe version with no impact on participants. New functionalities will be announced in due course.

•    Market Data FIX (UMDFTCP and ePUMA):
According to External Communication 004/2024-VNC, dated August 2, 2024, validation of FIX/FAST Conflated and ePUMA Market Data produced through Binary Market Data, specifically for the following channels: 5, 6, 7, 8 , 51, 52 and 59

•  Binary Market Data Maintenance Release:

The third tranche of the second maintenance release of Binary Market Data will be implemented for channels 72, 78, 84, 88 and 90, and also the respective changes as described in External Communication 118-2023-VNC-dated November 23, 2023.

•    LiNe Clearing Update
Currently, B3’s trading engines generate the FIX Execution Report and Binary Entrypoint (SBE). From this version onwards, risk clearing centers will no longer receive the FIX Execution Report and will instead receive Binary Entrypoint Execution Reports that will convert the Binary Entrypoint (SBE) execution reports into FIX.

2.    Electronic Trading System Morning Tests:
Attendance in the morning tests is mandatory. Morning tests will be held on March 11, 2024 (Monday), from 7:00 am to 7:45 am for the derivatives market and from 7:00 am to 8:00 am for the equities market in both production environments.
 

3. Attendance Confirmation:
The activities to be carried out during the tests are found in the mandatory script. Market data for these instruments will be sent during the mock trading session.
 

Attendance in the mock tests must be confirmed by 12 noon on March 8, 2024 (Friday), exclusively by email at [email protected]  with the subject line “Mock trading session” providing the name of the institution , name of the attendees and their contact details (telephone and email address). As a response to this confirmation, participants will receive the mandatory test script, which must be completed and sent to the email above.

Please note that mock trading session participants must adjust their internal systems so that the results of the mock sessions are completely segregated from the actual trading sessions.
