B3 Investor Area already offers you the possibility of exercising your voting right in shareholder meetings of your real estate and equity funds. Now, B3 is also expanding this feature to ETFs (Exchange Traded Funds).

The goal is to facilitate investor participation in decision-making, in compliance with CVM Resolution 175/2022. This new feature allows shareholders to register their votes online in a centralized manner. All this in a very simple way and in one single place.

For ETF administrators and managers, the solution contributes to greater efficiency in their communication with shareholders and to strengthening the governance of meetings.

Companies register their shareholder meetings in the Central Corporate Intelligence System (CICORP), a channel used by listed companies to include the remote voting ballot on B3. CICORP features an automatic integration with B3 Investor Area, which will be enabled to receive shareholder votes.
Shareholder can send their vote directly to B3 in an independent way, without the need for a custodian to act as an intermediary. Simply log in to B3 Investor Area and vote in the meetings that are enabled for them.
