Tesouro RendA+ is the new Tesouro Direto bond aimed at those seeking extra income for their retirement.

The Tesouro RendA+ bond simplifies planning of a future extra income. The investment occurs in the accumulation period and extends until the moment when the investor starts receiving the extra monthly income (conversion period). Initially, B3 will provide 8 target “retirement” dates, which is when the investment period ends and the conversion period begins.

During the period of receipt of the 240 payments (20-year period), monthly payments will be adjusted for inflation while maintaining the investor's purchasing power.

Tesouro RendA+ is the fantasy name for the NTN-B bond, series 1, which was created by Decree No. 11,301/2022.

These types of bonds are focused on the very long term and act as an extra retirement fund.

Those who invest in the Tesouro Direto RendA+ bond can receive 240 monthly payments with amounts adjusted for inflation and profitability above it, thus ensuring the investor’s purchasing power.

Tesouro RendA+ is yet another delivery from the partnership between STN, B3 and SPrev. It is an investment product focused on investors wishing to save money for retirement and receive monthly payments over a 20-year period as an additional social security retirement benefit.

There is no limit on the purchase of different RendA+ bonds and investors may buy as many bonds as they wish from different dates, limited to BRL1 million monthly.

Tesouro RendA+ bonds carried to maturity have no custody fee. Investors who earn up to six minimum wages monthly will be exempt from custody fee. If they exceed this amount, a fee of 0.10% per year will be charged.

If the investor withdraws the investment before the maturity date, custody fee collection will be regressive as per the values below:

0-10 years redemption - 0.50% per year

10-20 years redemption - 0.20% per year

Over 20 years - 0.10% per year

Maturity date - 0.00%

Tesouro RendA+ bonds will begin trading on January 30, 2023.
