Faster, fully electronic transfers bringing scale gains for investors and custodians.
Reduction of operational risks and agility in exchanges between those involved in the transaction.
It is now easier to monitor the entire custody transfer flow in real time.
With the new services in the OTC segment, asset transfer requests (STVM) are now done electronically.
Transfer of assets of the same ownership between different custodians can now be done entirely electronically via the Investor Logged-in Area at B3. This initiative allows custodians to process the entire flow electronically through the iMercado service network and the NoME platform (OTC).
The change directly benefits individual investors enabling the custody portability of their assets. To do so, simply select the institution from which you wish to withdraw custody (origin institution) and follow the step-by-step guide to choose the destination institution (to which you wish to transfer your assets).
Automation brings efficiency to transfers, facilitates the transfer process and brings scale gains. The electronic process also mitigates any errors, thus reducing operational risks, and ensures greater standardization for the exchange of information. Furthermore, the upgrade of STVM custody allows for better governance and increased transparency in monitoring the entire flow.
