Greater agility and accuracy in the investor registration update process

B3’s investor registration system for the listed and OTC segments gathers key data about investors who trade in the markets managed by B3 through their brokerage houses.

The registration is essential to ensure the security, transparency and regularity of transactions, in addition to supporting various operational processes. Therefore, it is crucial that this data is always kept up-to-date.

To simplify and streamline this process, B3 is developing two new solutions: a single screen and an API. Both tools will bring greater autonomy and efficiency to market participants, allowing for quick changes to registration data, which will be reflected simultaneously in B3's Integrated Registration System (SINCAD) and on the NoME platform.

B3 is creating two new tools for including and updating investor registration:

Single screen: A centralized interface that will allow users to access and update predefined basic data in a practical and intuitive way, reducing steps and concentrating data in a single environment.

New API: A tool that allows participants to indicate and update one or more predefined data items, ensuring that the changes accurately reflect their needs.

SINCAD is the system used by brokerage houses to enter and maintain data on their clients, their accounts, their relationships, and the professionals who operate in B3’s trading and post-trade environments.

NoMe is the infrastructure platform for the OTC market, offering services such as asset registration, asset deposit, cash settlement, security interests, etc.
