According to B3's latest study on the behavior of Brazilian investors, Real Estate Investment Funds (FIIs) showed a 25% growth in the number of investors in October 2023 when compared to the same period in the previous year, reaching the historic level of 2.4 million individual investors.
In addition to this scenario, FIIs are an indication of the democratization of investments in Brazil, since the median balance invested in 2018 was BRL15,700 with 200,000 investors and, five years later, it fell to BRL2,800 totaling 2.4 million investors.
