Study to bring more efficiency to capital allocation. We are working to promote the acceptance of Real Estate Investment Fund (FII) units as a margin of guarantee by B3 Clearing, as well as to allow the clearing of the margin with assets with the same risk factor.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the feasibility of the initiative and, should it be implemented, to develop the process of acceptance of the funds. The main benefit is to enable the development of the FII market, offering greater efficiency in capital allocation for investors and players that can use this product as a guarantee of the operations cleared by B3 Clearing.

To enable the project, the following changes will be made to the B3 Clearinghouse Risk Management Manual:

Real estate investment fund shares to be added to the list of assets eligible for collateral allocation

Liquidity limits and criteria for the eligibility of FIIs to be defined
These changes are still pending approval by the Central Bank of Brazil and the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission before being made available to the market.
