To assist participants in planning changes and implementations, a mock trading session of the PUMA Trading System will be held on 04/13/2024, with market participation.
In this session, the following system and infrastructure changes will be validated:

•    Cryptocurrency Futures Contracts:
Availability of the new Cryptocurrency Futures Contracts for testing during the mock trading session. At the end of the mock trading session, the following contracts will be removed from the platform:

Additionally, a new Sender Location ZAS will be created for assisted zeroing identification.

The release date of the Cryptocurrency Futures Contracts will be in 04/17/2024.

•    New version of Binary UMDF:
Implementation of a new version, specifically for the following channels:

Corrections:
- Adjustment of TradeSummary messages with null aggressorTime field.
- Adjustment in the ExecutionSummary message in case of triggering STOP offers for both the buy side and the sell side in the same transaction.

•    New version of the Matching Engine:
Corrections of the issues with Binary UMDF, as mentioned in the previous chapter, and the deactivation in the publication of the Market Data FIX. Therefore, from this new version, the matching engine will not publish the Market Data FIX.

We highlight that currently, the internal systems of B3 that receive the Market Data Fix, receive the data in the Binary UMDF format and convert it to the UMDF Entrypoint format.

•    FIX Gateway Version Update: 
Preparation for the migration of gateways that will receive Execution Reports in binary and convert them to the FIX protocol. This will be implemented specifically in the Gateways: 

FIX Gateways	OE091, OE112, OE002, OE208, OE022, OE085, OE086, OE087, OE088, OE089, OE090, OE092, OE093, OE094, OE095, OE225, OE226, OE227, OE228, OE229, OE230 e OE231

 

•    New Version of the Binary Gateway for optimization:
Preliminary tests will be conducted to update the version aimed at performance optimization in the following gateways: 

Binary Gateways	20001, 10001 e 10002

 

This update will be done at the beginning of the mock and deactivated at the end.

Wave 1 of the update of this version will start on 04/19/2024.

•    Preparation of LiNe Trading for new functionalities: 
Implementation of a new version of LiNe Trading, without impact to participants.

•    LiNe Clearing Update:
Implementation of a new version of LiNe Clearing, without impact to participants.

2. Morning test of the electronic trading system

It is mandatory for all the firms to participate in the morning test, which will be held on April 15th, 2024 (Monday), from 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. for the derivatives market and from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. for the equities market in both production environments.

3. Participation confirmation:

The activities to be performed during the test can be found in the mandatory script. Market data for these instruments will be sent during the mock trading session.

Participation in the mock trading session must be confirmed no later than 12 noon on April 12, 2024 (Friday), exclusively by email at [email protected] with “Mock trading session” in the subject line, identifying the institution, naming the individuals who will participate and supplying their contact details (telephone numbers and email addresses).

In response to this confirmation, the participant will receive the mandatory test script, and must fill it out and send it to the above email address.

Please note that mock trading session participants must adjust their internal systems so that the results of the mock trading session are completely segregated from real trading sessions.
