The tool enables participants without a direct connection with B3 to keep up to date on trades, allocations, onlending, and asset loans.

 

To meet a market demand, B3 has launched an API that provides near real time information on trades, equity allocations and onlending, derivatives, and asset loans. The solution is aimed at those who do not have direct connections with B3, such as fund managers.

Currently, managers generally receive this information in a file at the end of each trading session, when they start the distribution and allocation process.

The early provision of this information will allow an operating efficiency gain, with possible improvements in risk calculation, fund classification, and early allocations.

 

The API is ClearingView and will also allow vendors to create more efficient solutions for managers.
