This project is intended to change the field nomenclature from “Sex” to “Gender” on the registration screen. By including new possibilities of gender identity on SINCAD, B3 will expand the options for investors to make them feel more comfortable.

Change of screen setting from “sex” to “gender”
By changing the field nomenclature from “sex” to “gender”, NON-BINARY and I’D RATHER NOT SAY will be added besides the FEMALE and MALE identities.
SINCAD is B3's Integrated Registration System to register and maintain data on investors, their accounts and links and also data on professionals to be used in B3’s trading and post-trade environments.
The system’s key features are:
• Account registration, maintenance and query
• Link registration, maintenance and query
• Professionals’ registration, maintenance and query
