Currently, if an investor benefits from a special tax condition – due to their country of residence or economic activity – he or she needs to regularly send proof of their tax status to registrars and/or issuers.
This project will create a flow that will allow custodians of investors who benefit from these conditions to request specific taxation assessment from authorized registrars at B3’s Listed Central Depository.
Registrars, in turn, can confirm and assign these exception tax rates more quickly, allowing automatic provisioning of cash corporate actions.

The specific taxation request does not exempt submission of documents by the investor or investor's custodian
Inclusion of Specific Taxation Request by Custodians Approval or Rejection of the Specific Taxation Request by the Registrar
Custodians may link their investors to the respective specific taxation flows that correspond to the special tax condition to which the investor is linked.
It should be noted that linking investors through this flow offered by B3 does not exempt investors or theirs custodians from submitting supporting documents to the registrar
The registrar will assess the investors' request, and it will be up to the registrar to assign the term in which the investor will be linked to this special tax condition.
